What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is, as the name suggests, a list of fans for a certain subject, which online and open for anyone. All that is required is your (nick)name, a valid e-mail and your country.
Some people don't see the fun behind it, but that is exactly what fanlistings are, a hobby and fun. Seeing how many people share one's interests, creating sites and graphics and sometimes even sharing extras and information about the subject.

So if you are a fan, there is no reason not to join, your e-mail doesn't need to be displayed and won't be used for spamming you either*. Giving a valid e-mail just helps preventing fake members to join.

And when you really like a subject, why not show it? Especially with not so popular topics you make a lot of other fans happy to see that they are not alone.

* The script used to manage the fans who joined will automatically sent you an e-mail when you filled out the form correctly and then a second mail once I have added you to the actual list. The only other mail might be an note about a change of the url, so you can update your links and won't bump into a dead link.

Was ist ein Fanlisting?
Ein Fanlisting ist, wie der Name schon andeutet, eine Liste von Fans für ein bestimmtes Thema, welche online und offen für jeden ist. Alles was man braucht ist ein (Nick)name, eine gültige E-Mail addresse und sein Land.

Einige kennen den Spaß den Fanlistings bereiten können nicht, aber das ist exact was fanlistings sind, ein unterhaltsames Hobby. Es tut einfach gut zu sehen, das man mit seinen Interessen nicht alleine ist, Webseiten und Grafiken zu basteln und auch Extras und Informationen zum Thema zu teilen.

Wenn Du ein Fan bist, dann gibt es eigentlich keinen Grund nicht beizutreten, deine E-Mail muss ja nicht öffentlich gezeigt werden und ich nutze sie nicht um Spam zu versenden*. Die gültige E-Mail Adresse soll lediglich versuchen den Beitritt von falschen Mitgliedern zu vermindern.

Und wenn einem das Thema wirklich am Herzen liegt, warum sollte man das nicht zeigen? Gerade bei nicht so populären Themen fühlt man sich als Fan doch gleich besser, wenn man sieht, dass man nicht ganz so alleine ist.

* Das verwendete Script schickt lediglich eine Mail wenn man beigetreten ist und eine zweite wenn der Fan dann authorisiert worden ist. Dann eventuell was bei mir sehr selten vorkommt, dass eine E-Mail geschickt wird, wenn ich die URL verändere, damit die Fans ihre Links aktualisieren können.



Why did I made this fl?
Jan Tenner is one of my favourite series. This audio scifi-series is almost as old as I am, being first published when I was one year old. Naturally I discovered it only later, when I was about eight or so. It took me some years to get together all the tapes, as there are 46 of them, not to mention that the last tape was published almost 10 years after along break.

Warum gerade dieses Fanlisting?
Jan Tenner ist eine meiner Lieblingsserien. Die Serie ist auch fast so alt wie ich, die erste Kassette wurde veröffentlicht als ich gerade mal ein Jahr alt war. Ich habe sie natürlich erst später für mich entdeckt, also ich ungefähr acht war. Es hat etwas gedauert bis ich alle Kassetten zusammen hatte, immerhin gibt es 46 davon und die letzte wurde nach einer Pause von rund 10 Jahren veröffentlicht.



Where does the title come from?
"Galaktisch" is a german word that would translate to "galactic", which is a term that I think describes rather well the nature of the adventures Jan Tenner and his friends experience throughout the series, even though some adventures are located on earth and don't deal with aliens.
Woher kommt der Titel?
Galaktisch denke ich beschreibt ganz gut die Art von Abenteuer die Jan Tenner und seine Freunde die Serie über erleben, auch wenn einige Abenteuer auf der Erde spielen und sich nicht mit Außerirdischen beschäftigen.
